Hi, I'm Kim!
I'm a former second grade teacher who loves
visiting schools and connecting with students
about writing and what it's like to be an author.
Thank you so much for your interest in having me visit your school!
I am honored to be considered for your visiting author.
My Presentations:
*Offer a look into the writing process, both nonfiction and fiction
*Showcase growth mindset, perseverance, and having GRIT
*Incorporate an interactive, lighthearted slideshow that both entertains and educates
*Includes reading and Q & A
Kindergarten (30 minutes):
Presentation focuses on generating writing ideas, reading, and Q &A
Grades 1-2 (30-45 minutes):
Presentation focuses on writing and revising fiction stories, reading, and Q & A
Grades 3-5 (45-60 minutes):
Presentation focuses on writing biographies, researching, reading, and Q & A
In-Person Pricing:
Single Presentations: $375 per presentation
(limited to 125 students per presentation)
Full Day: $850
(up to 4 presentations per day - no maximum number of students per presentation)
I would love to share lunch with students and/or teachers!
*Travel fees apply for schools beyond a one hour drive from Londonderry, NH*
